Statistics Poland publishes data on divorces by place of residence of the person bringing the action for divorce. The source of data on divorces is reporting by public courts on the basis of statistical forms filled for each even - "Statistical certificate concerning legally valid decision on divorces"; Data by territorial division (urban/rural, voivodeship, regions, subregions, powiats) excludes divorces in which both spouses living abroad at the moment of filling petition for a divorce, these data are presented only for Poland in general.
