The data include healthcare institutions and practices that made the report to the Ministry of Health. Do not include units formed by the Ministry of National Defence or the Ministry of Interior and Administration. Do not include people working in the National Health Fund, administration entities, universities. Working - persons working in the facility regardless of the type of contract under which work is carried out (e.g. employment contract, civil law contract) and regardless of the working hours. One person can be shown more than once, in the case of performing work in more than one place. Working by the main workplace - persons, for which the reporting entity is the main place of work according to a statement of the worker. These people, regardless of working hours, are counted once. For the year 2012, data include the reporting of Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, social welfare centres, nurseries and children's clubs (OD-1), but data are presented only for the voivodships.
