  • Category description
    The data on the number of entities is presented in tables according to the sections and divisions of the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD). Entities entered (since 1999 in the KRUPGN register) according to sectors system (public and private sector) as well as according to NACE classification: until 1999 - European, since 2000 - Polish /by private and public sector/. Excluding persons tending private farms in agriculture.
  • Group description
    In relation with the amendments of the legal provisions introduced on 1 December 2014, the manner of feeding the REGON register with the information about entities subject to entry into the National Court Registry, there is a possibility of occurrence of empty entries in the REGON register, concerning the expected number of employees, predominant kind of activities or ownership type for the entities newly entered on the basis of the data transferred from the NCR. The mentioned solution is the cause of the sudden decrease, since 2015, of the number of new entries of commercial companies represented by ownership sector.
