    Higher education (reports S-10, S-12) - up to 2011 the data do not include the schools of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration; starting from 2012 including the schools of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration; data are presented by actual location of a high school branch from 2012 without a non-resident branch of Polish universities abroad, which were previously reported at the seat of the home university . Data include public and private schools (for the academic year 2004/2005 defined as state and non-state universities).

  • Subgroup description
    The economically inactive population, i.e. people outside the labour force, are all the persons aged 15 and more who were not classified as employed or unemployed, i.e. persons who during reference week: 1) did not work and were not job-seekers; 2) did not work and were job-seekers, but were not ready to start work within two weeks after the reference week; 3) did not work and were not job-seekers because they had found a job and they were waiting to start in the period: - longer than 3 months; - not longer than 3 months, but they were not able to take up work (since 2004). Among the economically inactive is specified a group of discouraged persons, i.e. persons not seeking work because they are convinced that they will not find it.
