Untill 2011data do not include hospitals, whose founding is the Minister of National Defence, Minister of Justice and the minister responsible for internal affairs.The data from 2012 in the field of general hospitals include the establishment of Defense and the Interior Ministry and do not include hospitals in penal institutions (Ministry of Justice).
  • Subgroup description
    From 2008 beds and incubators for newborns are included in total number of beds, day care places are excluded. Indicators relating to the number and structure of the population (sex, age group) since 2010 have been recalculated according to the balance sheet prepared on the basis of the results of Census 2011. The data from 2012 in the field of general hospitals include the establishment of Defense and the Interior Ministry and do not include hospitals in penal institutions (Ministry of Justice). In 2013 data do not include information from two hospitals in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship (the city of Poznan about 420 beds, powiat poznanski about 180 beds).
