    Since January 2012, the foster care of a child (statutory - care surrogate) is divided into familial and institutional. Until now, there were foster parents and childcare centers. The familiar care includes foster homes/foster families and foster homes. The institutional care, outside care and educational institutions also include preadoption centers and regional centers of care and therapy.
  • Subgroup description
    Foster family provides care and upbringing of a child deprived in part or in full of parental care. Foster families are divided into related and not related to the child, professional families not related to the child: families with many children, specialized families, emergency foster families. From 1 January 2012, the foster care of the child is divided into familiar and institutional. The familiar care includes foster homes/foster families and foster homes.
