    Science and technology, is a field of statistic which deal with description of the phenomena associated with functioning of science and technology systems.
  • Group description
    Research and development activity (R&D) includes systematically conduced creative work, undertaken in order to increase knowledge, including knowledge about man, culture and socjety as well as for discovering new uses for this knowledge. Research and development activity includes basic research, applied research and experimental development. R&D activity distinguishes from the other activities visible part of novelty and the elimination of uncertainty scientific or technical, so that is no solution emanating clearly from the legacy of the state of knowledge. Data regarding employment in R&D activity include persons employed exclusively on this activity and spending at least 10 per cent of their normal work time.
