Description
the subsistence minimum
The subsistence minimum calculated by the Institute of Labour and Social Studies as the extreme poverty line. The subsistence minimum sets the level of the satisfaction of needs below which there is a biological threat to life or psychophysical human development.
relative poverty line
Relative poverty line - 50% of the mean monthly expenditure (equivalent) of households.
legal poverty line
So called legal poverty line - the amount which, according to the legislation in force, makes the household eligible for social assistance benefit.
