    Data on dwelling stocks are presented on the basis of the balance of dwelling stocks as of 31 December (including number of dwellings, as well as number of rooms and useful floor area in these dwellings located in residential and non-residential buildings), equipment of dwellings– report GKM-12 and current surveys (reports M-01 and SG-01 part 3). Information about water supply system, sewage system and gas supply system include network serving households and other users. Data on heating system concern heating network, and sale of heating energy.

    Dwelling stocks from 1995 to 2002 referred to inhabited dwellings; from 2003 on, information about all dwellings.
    Data on the housing stock in 2010, for which the data of the National Census 2002 was the starting point, have historical value only and are available in the download file.
    Data on the dwelling stocks in 2020, for which the data of the National Census 2011 was the starting point, have historical value only and are available in archiwum.

    Demand for the lease of premises from the housing stock of municipalities - the sum of flats that do not meet the technical standards for living and residential premises and temporary premises rented from other entities intended for residence and the number of people waiting for housing from the housing stock of municipalities. Demand for social rental of premises - the sum of residential premises that do not meet the technical standards for living, for which social rental agreements have been signed, and the number of people waiting for social rental premises from the municipal housing stock.
