  • Category description
    Data on tourist accommodation establishments and their occupancy were compiled based on the following reports: a) KT-1 – where data up to and including 2015 are only for those units that submitted statistical forms. Starting with the data for January 2016, the data imputation method was introduced. Data from January 2012 onwards from the KT-1 survey apply to all tourist accommodation establishments with 10 or more bed places (including rooms for guest and agritourism lodgings); b) KT-2 – which applies to tourist accommodation establishments with less than 10 bed places. In the case of data on the occupancy of tourist accommodation establishments when there are less than 3 units in a given area, the data were classified (statistical confidentiality). The number of establishments (as well as rooms and bed places) refers to establishments that were in operation on July 31. Data on occupancy of establishments (overnight stays provided, rooms rented, tourists) are shown for the entire reporting year.

    From 1 January to 31st December. Net degree of utilization is calculated by dividing the total of night stays by the number of all beds offered during days in the month they were actually made available.
  • Subgroup description
    Intramural expenditure on R&D: Expenditure incurred in reporting year for R&D work realized in reporting unit, independently of sources of funds. They include both the current and capital expenditure for fixet assets related to the R&D activity, but doesn't include depreciation of fixed assets. Data in division of sectors of performance. Since 2016, data on R&D by institutional sectors were calculated according to the methodology of the Frascati Manual 2015. Business enterprise expenditure on R&D (BERD) are intramural R&D expenditure incurred within the Business enterprise sector during a specific reference period. Indicators relating to the number and structure of the population (gender, age group) since 2020 have been recalculated in accordance with the balance sheet prepared on the basis of the results of the National Census 2021.
