Data on sports clubs (including Student Sports Clubs - UKS, and religious clubs) and persons practising sports in sports sections by kinds of sport (KFT-1 report). A person practising sports in sports sections may be indicated more than once depending on the number of sports he/she practises. Data on sports facilities (excluding school facilities) are collected in several stages. Every 4 years, using the KFT-OB/a set of data, all local government units (city and gmina offices, district offices of the Capital City of Warsaw) provide information on sports facilities under their management. In the next stage, other owners of sports facilities provide data on their own sports facilities using the KFT-OB/b set of data. In the year in which the survey is conducted, sports clubs additionally report data on sports facilities they own using the KFT-1 set of data. As of 31 December. Data on sports clubs for 2020 was prepared using direct estimation, taking into account imputations for units that refused to participate in the study.
