  • Category description
    Presented data concerning real estate sales and prices was compiled on the basis of information obtained from Real Estate Price Register (RCN) – until 31 July 2021 the Register of Real Estate Prices and Values (RCiWN) - kept by Powiat Administrative Offices and offices of cities with powiat status, and using the data derived from notarial deeds. Only those purchase/sale transactions of properties are observed, which were concluded during the period under survey and were registered in RCN before the date of data transfer to the Statistics Poland. Data is presented for residential premises located in multi-family buildings (colloquially flats in blocks of flats), without information on single-family houses.
  • Group description
    Presented data refer to market transactions, i.e. sales on the free market (with some exclusions, e.g. sales between related parties) and sales under tender procedure. In case of lack of appropriate information in datasets from RCN (until 31 July 2021 – RCiWN), the breakdown into the primary and secondary markets is based on the assumption that sales on the primary market concern transactions made on the free market by legal persons and the average price per 1 m2 of usable floor area is at least PLN 2,000. Transactions on the secondary market include the rest of market transactions concluded on the free market as well as sales under tender procedure. In December 2021, the BDL was supplied with final data for the years 2010-2014, which refer to a greater number of purchase and sale transactions of residential premises compared to the data previously published by the Statistics Poland. In the years 2020 - 2022, there is no data for the city of Koszalin. Since 2020, incomplete data for the city of Szczecin.
  • Subgroup description
    Data obtained from the cyclic Research Farm Structures. The economic size of a holding represents the total standard output expressed in euro. The output of a given type of agricultural activity represents the gross value of agricultural output per 1 hectare of crop or per 1 animal. This value is calculated by multiplying the output per ha or per animal by the price applicable in the agricultural holding area, excluding VAT, taxes on products and direct subsidies. Standard output (SO) represents the output value reflecting the average status in a given region. It is calculated as the average five-year output value achieved from specific agricultural (crop or animal) activity. The total standard output of a holding (Polish acronym: GSP) is the sum of values obtained for each agricultural activity conducted in the holding, through multiplying the SO coefficients for a given type of activity by the number of hectares or animals.
