  • Category description
    Data on dwelling stocks are presented on the basis of the balance of dwelling stocks as of 31 December (including number of dwellings, as well as number of rooms and useful floor area in these dwellings located in residential and non-residential buildings), equipment of dwellings– report GKM-12 and current surveys (reports M-01 and SG-01 part 3). Information about water supply system, sewage system and gas supply system include network serving households and other users. Data on heating system concern heating network, and sale of heating energy.
  • Group description
    Data refer only to units that have submitted a report. In the case of research in this field an imputation procedure for missing data is not applied. The 2010 population balance data have been prepared according to the administrative division of the country as of 1 January 2011, however due to the specificity of the Local Data Bank they have been recalculated according to the administrative division of the country as of 1 January 2010 (excluding changes that do not affect the indices or the names of territorial division units). This has resulted in a difference to the data published in Statistics Poland reports. For comparison, the information on five gminas (rural in 2010 and urban-rural in 2011) according to the administrative division of the country as of 1 January 2011 for 2010 is available in this report - download file. For the years 2000–2007 information on water supplied do not include values for subregions.
  • Subgroup description
    Subgroup includes estimated data concerning population using water-line, sewerage systems and gas. In case of water supply and sewage systems data for 2014 are given according to changed estimation method.The 2010 population balance data have been prepared according to the administrative division of the country as at 1 January 2011, however due to the specificity of the Local Data Bank they have been recalculated according to the administrative division of the country as at 1 January 2010 (the changes that do not affect the indices or the names of territorial division units have not been taken into account). This has resulted in a difference relative to the data published in the Statistics Poland reports. For comparison, the information on five gminas (rural in 2010 and municipal-rural in 2011) according to the administrative division of the country as at 1 January 2011 for the year 2010 is available in this report - download file. Indicators relating to the number and structure of the population (gender, age group) since 2010 have been recalculated in accordance with the balance sheet prepared on the basis of the results of the National Census 2011. In order to ensure data consistency, the percentage of the total population using water supply system, sewage system, or gas supply system was calculated using data originating from Census 2011. For the years 2020–2021 these indicators will be revised on the basis of data from Census 2021. Planned revision of data is scheduled for October 2023.
