    Average producer prices refer to the domestic market. Procurement prices refer to average prices paid by economic entities purchasing agricultural products directly from producers. Price indices of goods and services are obtained on the basis of price observation by representatives.

    Marketplace prices are those received by farmers in marketplace transactions between farmers or farmers and non-agricultural population. These prices have been compiled on the basis of price quotations of selected products, provided by a network of the Statistics Poland interviewers on about 350 agricultural marketplaces on the territory of entire country. Average monthly prices have been calculated as an arithmetic mean of all quotations at the national and voivodship level. Average quarterly, semi-annual and annual prices have been calculated as the arithmetic means of average monthly prices.Due to the pandemic, price quotations at marketplaces were not conducted and data are missing for certain periods in 2020 and 2021, i.e.: from April to June, November and December 2020, the 2nd quarter and first half of 2020; the 4th quarter and second half of 2020; calendar year 2020 and from January to June 2021, the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2021 and the first half of 2021 and calendar year 2021.
