  • Subgroup description
An exhibition organised by a museum (para-museum institution) under appropriate title means making a set of museum exhibits available to the public (visitors). Exhibitions in the country include regular and temporary exhibitions. Regular exhibitions in a museum (para-museum institution) should be understood as thematic exhibitions presented for a period of not less than 3 years in separate parts of museum rooms, rooms, departments, etc. Temporary exhibitions are exhibitions organised and made available to visitors for a specified period of time. Temporary exhibitions include: own, co-organised and exhibitions on loan from other museums. Own exhibitions are organised and made available by the museum in its own facilities. Co-organised exhibitions mean exhibitions prepared by more than one institution. A co-organised exhibition is presented by only one institution/organiser - as agreed in the contract. Temporary exhibitions on loan include exhibitions from abroad and national exhibitions prepared by another museum in the country. Data on national exhibitions on loan are reported by the entity that makes the exhibition available to the public. Until 2019, the category of national exhibitions on loan was called foreign domestic exhibitions.
