    Data regarding wages and salaries are given in gross terms, i.e., including deductions for personal income taxes and since 1999 also employee's contributions to compulsory social security (retirement, pension and illness). Data regarding benefits are given in gross terms, i.e., including deductions for personal income taxes.

    Material and financial reports are submitted by gminas as a whole, therefore it is not possible to separate urban and rural parts within a given gmina. Data may not add up due to rounding used. From June 1, 2022, child-raising benefit is also paid to children placed in foster care. The data for 2022 include total expenses for child-raising benefits and supplements. Since 1 January 2024, the amount of the benefit is PLN 800 per month per child.
