    Forestry data are presented in a division by: public forests (forests owned by the State Treasury, of which the ones managed by the State Forests) and private forests. Forest land comprises the area of forest as well as land related to forest mangement. Indicators used for the calculations of the geodesic area include the change of the of area the country introduced in 2023. The change involves including the Bay of Puck and a part of the Bay of Gdańsk to the area of internal sea waters. Detailed information is to be found in the group: Geodetic area of the country.
