In some months of 2020, due to the pandemic, market prices were not quoted. No data for 2020. Price of cattle for slaughter was calculated: Poland in total - as average weighted prices with the adoption of the structure of procurement quantity of young cattle and cows for slaughter; voivodships - as an arithmetic average of monthly price quotations. To calculate the monthly price of cattle for slaughter at voivodship level the information on procurement quantity of young cattle and cows for slaughter (from R-10 survey) as well as data on market- place prices of cows and young cattle for slaughter (from R-CT survey) is essential. Lack of the one of the mentioned data makes impossible to calculate the monthly and annual price at voivodship level.

In January, February, March and first quarter of 2021, the survey is still suspended due to the pandemic. In April, May and June as well as in November and December 2020, due to the pandemic, no marketplace prices were quoted. No data for the 2nd quarter and 1st half of 2020, for the 4th quarter, 2nd half of 2020 and for the calendar year 2020. Marketplace prices are those received by farmers in marketplace transactions between farmers or farmers and non-agricultural population. These prices have been compiled on the basis of price quotations of selected products, provided by a network of the Statistics Poland interviewers on about 440 agricultural marketplaces on the territory of entire country. Average monthly prices have been calculated as an arithmetic mean of all quotations at the national and voivodship level. Average quarterly, semi-annual and annual prices have been calculated as the arithmetic means of average monthly prices.
