Total and bed places - as of 31st July; (nights spent) overnight stays and tourists accommodated - during the year. The subgroup - other hotel establishments was established within the group - hotel, motels, boarding houses in 2004. It covers the hotels, motels and boarding houses not assigned to any specific category, and establishments providing hotel services (e.g. everyday cleaning). Indicators relating to the population since 2010 the calculated according to the state of the population based on the results of the National Census 2011. Indicators relating to the number and structure of the population (gender, age group) since 2020 have been recalculated in accordance with the balance sheet prepared on the basis of the results of the National Census 2021.

In connection with the need to ensure statistical confidentiality, starting with the year 2015 the scope of information available on the use of tourist facilities: tourists, nights spent and rented rooms, has changed. Data were grouped according to the types of objects on the basis of PKD 2007: 55.1 Hotels and similar establishments, 55.2 Holiday and other short-stay accommodation and 55.3 Camping grounds and campsites. The territorial levels of presentation have been changed: information is available for powiats, regions or subregions.
