    Data on tourist accommodation establishments and their occupancy were compiled based on the following reports: a) KT-1 – where data up to and including 2015 are only for those units that submitted statistical forms. Starting with the data for January 2016, the data imputation method was introduced. Data from January 2012 onwards from the KT-1 survey apply to all tourist accommodation establishments with 10 or more bed places (including rooms for guest and agritourism lodgings); b) KT-2 – which applies to tourist accommodation establishments with less than 10 bed places. In the case of data on the occupancy of tourist accommodation establishments when there are less than 3 units in a given area, the data were classified (statistical confidentiality). The number of establishments (as well as rooms and bed places) refers to establishments that were in operation on July 31. Data on occupancy of establishments (overnight stays provided, rooms rented, tourists) are shown for the entire reporting year.

    Data presented by turnover form covers transactions concluded on the free market, resulting from the sales preceded by a tender and from non-tender sales, where the State Treasury, a gmina, a powiat, a voivodship, or a natural or legal person, holding the ownership or joint ownership title, can act as the seller. In December 2021, the BDL was supplied with final data for the years 2010-2014, which refer to a greater number of purchase and sale transactions of residential premises compared to the data previously published by the Statistics Poland. In the years 2020 - 2022, there is no data for the city of Koszalin. Since 2020, incomplete data for the city of Szczecin.

    The median is the numerical value in the ordered dataset, above and below which there is an equal number of observations. Price comprises all and any elements of the real estate under transaction. Prices of residential premises sold on the primary market include VAT.
