  • Category description
    Up to reference period 2001 the road vehicles data are based on the report T-03; from reference period 2002 onwards the road vehicles data are based on administrative source ( district vehicle registers data base). Until 2001 the operated railway lines data were based on the PKP reports, since 2002 the data have been based on the reports of PKP PLK and other managers of railway infrastructure, including light rail infrastructure (in accordance with Eurostat methodology, the data on operated railway lines in Poland published in Eurostat database have excluded light rail since 2018). The air transport data are based on LOT, PL reports. The information about postal offices to 2001 including telecommunication service offices. Telecommunications and post data come from UKE (UKE RT 02 and UKE P 01 forms).
  • Group description
    Roads dedicated to public use and assigned an appropriate category based on the regulations of the Act on Public Roads. The roads are split by their function in the road network into following categories: 1) national roads, 2) regional roads, 3) district roads, 4) communal roads. The public roads are split by the surface type into hard-surfaced roads and unsurfaced roads. Roads are split by their territory into urban roads and non-urban roads.

    Current prices. Quarterly data within the scope of investment outlays refer to economic entities keeping accounting ledgers, irrespective of kind of activities (with the exception of units conducting economic activity included, in accordance with the NACE Rev. 2, in the section ’’Agriculture, forestry and fishing’’ and ’’Financial and insurance activities’’), in which the number of employees exceeds 49 persons. Due to electronic data processing technology, in selected cases the grand totals for voivodships due to number rounding, may differ from the figure Poland total. Division outlays by voivodships was made in accordance with the seat of investor.
