Costs of dwelling stock maintenance relate to dwellings located in buildings that are 100% owned by the gmina, companies, the State Treasury, public building societies and other entities. In case of dwellings located in buildings of housing cooperatives and buildings covered by housing condominiums, the costs apply to all dwellings, regardless of the ownership status. Costs of maintenance are shown jointly for dwellings and business premises located in residential buildings. Data on costs of dwelling stock maintenance are provided by units with 21 or more dwellings, and in case of buildings covered by housing condominiums, 8 and more dwellings in the powiat. From 2022 onwards, data on costs of dwelling stock maintenance are compulsory for units holding dwelling stocks of the gmina, housing cooperatives and public building societies. However, in the case of dwellings located in buildings of companies, the State Treasury, other entities and buildings covered by housing condominiums information on costs of maintenance are provided by units with 8 or more dwellings in powiat.
