Energy sector: PKD2004 - total consumption in division 40 + direct consumption in section C, PKD2007 - total consumption in division 35 + direct consumption in section B. Transport sector: PKD2004 - section I, PKD2007 - section H. Agriculture: PKD2004 - section A and B + consumption for agricultural purposes in small individual farms, PKD2007 - section A + consumption for agricultural purposes in small individual farms . Other consumption (including the service sector): PKD2004 - division 41 + recipients apart from mentioned above, PKD2007 - division 36 + recipients apart from mentioned above. Indicators relating to the number and structure of the population (gender, age group) since 2010 have been recalculated in accordance with the balance sheet prepared on the basis of the results of the National Census 2011. Indicators relating to the number and structure of the population (gender, age group) since 2020 have been recalculated in accordance with the balance sheet prepared on the basis of the results of the National Census 2021.

Total - electricity production in Poland, total production of thermal, hydro and renewable power plants. Public thermal power plants - conventional power plants and combined heat and power plants belonging to enterprises of groups 35.1 or 35.3 according to PKD2007 (including co-firing of biomass, biogas and biofuels). Autoproducing thermal power plants - conventional power plants and combined heat and power plants belonging to enterprises of groups other than 35.1 and 35.3 according to PKD2007 (including co-firing of biomass and biogas). Hydro and renewable power plants- hydro (pumped storage and flow), wind and thermal power plants using only renewable fuels (biomass, biogas, biofuels). Hydro power plants - pumped storage and run-of-river power plants. From renewable energy sources - the sum of electricity produced from run-of-river and wind power plants, and from biomass, biogas and biofuels (including their co-firing).
