Since 2015, data on municipal (gminas’) land have been derived from an administrative source - from aggregated statistics as of January 1, received from the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGiK). Items for Poland, voivodships, powiats, gminas and districts of the Capital City of Warsaw are supplemented with data selected from GUGiK aggregates, according to their territorial symbols. On the other hand, data for macroregions, regions and subregions that do not occur in the GUGiK aggregates are summed up respectively: for a macroregion - the sum of the data from the regions making up the macroregion, for a region - the sum of data from the voivodships making up the region, for a subregion - the sum of data from the powiats making up the subregion. The area is given in full hectares. Since 2015, data on municipal land has been extended to include registry subgroups: - 4.3 - land used for municipal roads; - 5.2 - land transferred for perpetual usufruct to municipal legal persons; - 5.3 - land transferred for perpetual usufruct to housing cooperatives; and group 4 was separated (from the previously existing sum of groups 4 and 5). Since 2019, the information on land included in registry groups and subgroups has also been presented: - 11 - land owned by powiats, with the exception of land put into perpetual usufruct, and land whose owners are not known, owned, on the basis of autonomous possession, by powiat organisational units without legal personality; - 11.1 - land included in the powiat real estate stock, excluding land of this stock included in subgroups 11.2 and 11.3; - 11.2 - land of powiats transferred for permanent management and land whose owners are not known, owned, on the basis of autonomous possession, by powiat organisational units without legal personality; - 11.3 - land used for powiat roads; - 12 - powiat land transferred for perpetual usufruct; - 12.1 - powiat land transferred for perpetual usufruct to natural persons; - 12.2 - powiat land transferred for perpetual usufruct to powiat legal persons; - 12.3 - powiat land transferred for perpetual usufruct to housing cooperatives; - 12.4 - powiat land transferred for perpetual usufruct to other persons than those mentioned in subgroups 12.1, 12.2, 12.3; - 13 - land owned by voivodships, with the exception of land put into perpetual usufruct, and land whose owners are unknown, owned, on the basis of autonomous possession, by voivodeship organizational units without legal personality; - 13.1 - land included in the voivodship real estate stock, excluding land from this stock included in subgroups 13.2 and 13.3; - 13.2 - land of voivodships transferred for permanent management and land whose owners are not known, owned, on the basis of autonomous possession, by voivodship organisational units without legal personality; - 13.3 - land used for voivodeship roads; - 14 - voivodship land transferred for perpetual usufruct; - 14.1 - voivodship land transferred for perpetual usufruct to natural persons; - 14.2 - voivodship land transferred for perpetual usufruct to voivodship legal persons; - 14.3 - voivodship land transferred for perpetual usufruct to housing cooperatives; - 14.4 - voivodship land transferred for perpetual usufruct to other persons than those mentioned in subgroups 14.1, 14.2, 14.3. Starting from 2022, due to the changes introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Development, Labour and Technology of July 27, 2021 on the land and building register (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1390), which consist of collecting data on registration groups instead of registration groups and subgroups in the 1.02.03 Communal land study, the way of presenting the data has been changed. The data are still presented for registration groups 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, but the registration subgroups 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 14.1, 14.2, 14.3 and 14.4 are not distinguished from them anymore. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Development, Labour and Technology of July 27, 2021 on the land and building register (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1390): - group 4 includes land of gminas, inter-gmina or metropolitan unions, if they do not coincide with perpetual usufructuaries, - group 5 includes land of gminas, inter-gmina or metropolitan unions, if they coincide with perpetual usufructuaries, - group 11 includes land of powiats or powiat unions, if they do not coincide with perpetual usufructuaries, - group 12 includes land of powiats or powiat unions, if they coincide with perpetual usufructuaries, - group 13 includes land of voivodeships, if they do not coincide with perpetual usufructuaries, - group 14 includes land of voivodeships, if they coincide with perpetual usufructuaries.
