Sector includes all entities that are:1) Organizations, that is, institutionalized to some extent;2) Private, that is, institutionally separate from government;3) Non-profit-distributing, that is, not returning profits generated to their owners or directors; 4) Self-governing, that is, able to control their own activities; 5) Voluntary, that is, non-compulsory and involving some meaningful degree of voluntary participation. The study group included: active associations and similar organizations, foundations, faith-based charities, business and professional associations, employers' organizations. Data, between 2008 and 2010 are not fully comparable. In 2008, the total organization does not include business and professional associations, employers' organizations.
